2016 NFL Mock Draft: Three Rounder with Trades

Let the Madness of the March continue! We've got a three round mock for you with trades this week, and some if the decisions we made are nearly unjustifiable. Hopefully we managed to fix your team up with some pretty great players, because at 3am EST we thought this was the greatest mock on the face of the Earth. Enjoy and remember to say mean things about us in the comments!

Bellow is the trade chart we used to make our trades:

Odd: Zach
Even: Chaz

NFL DRAFT: FIRST THREE ROUNDS
RD 1
TEAM
RD 2
TEAM
RD 3
TEAM
1
Titans - Jalen Ramsey, CB/S, Florida State - I can’t seem to get off of this Ramsey pick for the Titans. Ramsey Will step in day one and be an immediate upgrade to their corner or safety position.
32
Browns - Michael Thomas, WR, Ohio State
64
Titans  - Tyler Johnstone, OT, Oregon
2
Browns - Jared Goff, QB, Cal - The Browns need a franchise QB and Goff is THE guy this draft. The smartest QB since  Andrew Luck isn’t going to be slighted by subpar hand size.
33
Titans - Karl Joseph, S, West Virginia - Joseph is a wrecking crew in the secondary. He’s a great pair with Ramsey.
65
Browns - Kenneth Dixon, RB, LA Tech - Playmakers to the Browns, please.
3
Chargers - Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss - The Chargers offensive line has been improved, but still isn’t even at the level of good. Tunsil it a top of the line tackle talent.
34
Cowboys - Darron Lee, OLB, Ohio State
66
Chargers - Jalen Mills, S, LSU
4
Cowboys - Joey Bosa, DE/Rush, Ohio State - This pick just screams Jerry Jones. Bosa gets comparisons to Watt who calls Texas home. Jerry brings his own version to Dallas while filling a huge need and nabbing one of the most electrifying players in this draft.
35
Chargers (Trade to Rams) - Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State - Cook may not be seen as a 1st round guy anymore, but he’s worth the move here.
67
Cowboys - Chris Jones, DT, Mississippi State - Jones is willing to go “all out” for his team. GET IT?
5
Jaguars - Myles Jack, LB, UCLA - After what Von Miller did in 2015 Jack will be a hot commodity. Jack has the better coverage skills, but Miller has the better rush skills.
36
Ravens - Noah Spence, DE/OLB, Eastern Kentucky
68
49ers - Spencer Drango, G, Baylor
6
Ravens - Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame- The ravens took a big hit with Osemele leaving and they need offensive line help big time. Stanley is one of the best tackle prospects in years.
37
49ers - Jason Spriggs, OT, Indiana - The 49ers are shy a right tackle and Joe Staley isn’t getting any younger.
69
Jaguars - Zack Sanchez, CB, Oklahoma - Jags add another playmaking Oklahoma corner.
7
49ers - Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss - Anquan Boldin worked out well in San Fran, and Chaz likens Treadwell to Boldin so it's a good fit. Chip has a love for the receiver pick too.
38
Jaguars - Vonn Bell, S, Ohio State
70
Ravens - Xavien Howard, CB, Baylor
8
Eagles (from MIA) -Ezekiel Elliot, RB, Ohio State- During his tenure in KC, Doug Pederson learned how much you can benefit from a great running back, and he had one in Brian Westbrook his first time around in Philly.
39
Buccaneers - La’Raven Clark, OT, Texas Tech - The Bucs make this pick to completely remodel their offensive line to protect Winston.
71
Giants - Deion Jones, OLB, LSU - A complete linebacker overhaul for the Giants.
9
Buccaneers - Vernon Hargreaves III, CB, Florida - The Bucs are a team that has tried to retool their secondary multiple times, but nothing has stuck. I firmly believe Hargreaves will be a top 10 corner in the league at some point.
40
Giants (Trade to Lions) - Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Oklahoma State
72
Bears - Hunter Henry, TE, Arkansas
10
Giants - Reggie Ragland, ILB, Alabama - The Giants filled a bunch of holes but still don’t have the core right in the middle of the D. Ragland gives you exactly that and a leader for years to come.
41
Bears - Germain Ifedi, OT, Texas A&M - The bears picked up Bobby Massie, but that leaves them one tackle short.
73
Dolphins - Jatavius Brown, LB, Akron - Don’t know him? He destroyed his Pro Day and created plenty of #MACtion.
11
Bears (Trade to Jets) -Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State - The Jets have been hanging onto Mo this whole time to use him to move up. They send him to a team they have been friendly with in the offseason and move up to get their franchise guy.
42
Dolphins - Robert Nkemdiche, DT, Ole Miss - Nkemdiche doesn't fill a need for Miami, but he’s too much value here. A rotation of Suh, Phillips, and Nkemdiche.
74
Buccaneers - Jeremy Cash, S, Duke
12
Saints - Josh Doctson, WR, TCU - the Saints can go a bunch of places but they don’t have Colston anymore and need more than just Cooks.
43
Rams [(from PHI) Trade to Chargers) -A’Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama - Kendall Reyes didn’t work out so maybe Robinson can bring some spark to the CHargers defense.
75
Raiders - Tyler Matakevich, LB, Temple - Matakevich won't be the flashiest guy, but he'll make plays for you.
13
Dolphins [(from PHI) Trade to Colts] - DeForest Buckner, DE, Oregon - This is considered a fall for Buckner so the Colts sweep in to add an elite piece to their front seven.
44
Raiders - Jarran Reed, DT, Alabama
76
Rams - Max Tuerk, C, USC
14
Raiders - William Jackson III, CB, Houston - The Raiders are going to draft Houston corners until one of them hits. Jackson has been rising up the boards and is the most versatile CB in the draft.
45
Rams - Su’a Cravens, OLB, USC - The Rams add a local LA talent and a guy that can play as another interchangeable LB/S piece like Barron.
77
Eagles (from Lions) - Kevon Seymour, CB, USC - The Eagles secondary is woeful. Hopefully Seymore can help change that.
15
Rams (Trade to Falcons) - Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor - Billings is a penetrating 3 tech that will create havoc with Beasley. This is a good move to hop over the Lions here.
46
Lions (Trade to Giants) - Tyler Boyd, WR, Pitt
78
Saints - Jordan Jenkins, OLB, Georgia
16
Lions - Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State- The Lions spend a couple of years on it but their OL is no basically fixed with young talent galore and Conklin adds some nice attitude up there.
47
Saints - Cody Whitehair, G, Kansas State - Whitehair is the perfect athletic guard for the Saints offense.
79
Eagles - Braxton Miller, WR, Ohio State - The flashiest possible pick for the Eagles, but would round out their receiver corps.
17
Falcons (Trade to Rams) - Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor - Was the last real receiver for the Rams Isaac Bruce or Torry Holt? Coleman will bring speed, but more importantly consistency.
48
Colts- Shilique Calhoun, DE, Michigan State
80
Bills - Jayron Kearse, S, Clemson
18
Colts (Trade to Dolphins) Dolphins trade to Vikings) -  Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson - The Vikings are in desperate need at defensive end. Lawson is an animal that will matchup well with their young linebackers.
49
Bills - Kamalei Correa, OLB, Boise State - How long did Rex and the Jets go without a rush linebacker? Not again Rex.
81
Falcons (Trade to Rams) - Austin Hooper, TE, Stanford - Cook is gone, so the Rams take another Cali kid to be a pass catching tight end.
19
Bills - Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville - Rankins just feels like that lineman that Rex loves and will create matchup nightmares for opposing offensive linemen.
50
Falcons - Jerell Adams, TE, South Carolina
82
Colts (Trade to Dolphins) (Dolphins trade to Vikings) - Sterling Shepard, WR, Oklahoma
20
Jets (Trade to Bears) -  Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia - The Bears are in serious rebuild mode on defense and with that LB group. They just added Danny Trevathan to hold it down in the middle, so they go out and grab Floyd who could play OLB or DE.
51
Jets - Kyler Fackrell, LB, Utah State - Fackrell isn’t going to get a lot of sacks, but what he will give you is consistency in coverage against RB’s and TE’s, and someone with a long body and good lateral ability to shut down the run.
83
Jets - Landon Turner, G, North Carolina-
21
Redskins - Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State - I was mean to Washington last week so I’ll give them a better corner this week. Apple is young and raw, but physical and tough.
52
Texans (Trade to Patriots) - Joshua Perry, OLB, Ohio State
84
Redskins - Charles Tapper, DE, Oklahoma
22
Texans (Trade to Seattle) - Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State - Seattle has not tackles at this point and Decker is a great value here. He’s probably more of a RT than a LT, but they can make that decision through camp.
53
Redskins - Nick Martin, C, Notre Dame - Another team that continues to retool their line to protect a quarterback they believe in.
85
Texans - Shawn Oakman, DE, Baylor - If Oakman pans out he and Watt will be terrifying.
23
Vikings (Trade to Dolphins) - Kevin Dodd, DE, Clemson - I’m on record for not being a huge fan of Miami taking an end early, but with trading down Dodd is the best option for them here. Mario Williams (31) and Cam Wake (34) are on their last hoorah. I compare Dodd to Justin Tuck, but more athletic.
54
Vikings (Trade to Dolphins) - Kendall Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech - The Dolphins need to add a corner to compliment Byron Maxwell. Fuller could become a number one guy in the future.
86
Vikings - Devontae Booker, RB, Utah
24
Bengals - Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame - Green lost all of his receiver pals to free agency so the Bengals take a burner to compliment him. Fuller has some drops, but his threat to beat you over the top is very real.
55
Bengals (Trade to Chiefs) - Jonathan Bullard, DE/DT, Florida - Mike Devito is still a starter for the Chiefs, somehow. Bullard can rotate with him until he leaves.
87
Bengals - Vernon Butler, DT, LA Tech - Pairing Butler with Atkins will be a great duo.
25
Steelers - Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson - I don’t love Alexander, but the Steelers need to start suring up their secondary.
56
Seahawks - Shon Coleman, OT, Auburn
88
Packers - Austin Johnson, DT, Penn State
26
Seahawks (Trade to Texans) - Darian Thompson, S, Boise State - The Texans take a really great safety here. Thompson underwhelmed in his 40 time at the Combine, but he does everything else really well.
57
Packers - Scooby Wright, LB, Arizona - Please move Clay Matthews back outside. Scooby is a perfect inside linebacker for a 34 defense.
89
Steelers - Miles Killebrew, S, Southern Utah - Killebrew is the most Steelers safety ever. He’ll blow guys up.
27
Packers - Adolphus Washington, DT, Ohio State - The Packers front three has never become what they would have hoped. Washington is an underrated prospect that can be a building block on on that line.
58
Steelers - Jerald Hawkins, OT, LSU
90
Seahawks - Denver Kirkland, OT, Arkansas
28
Chiefs (Trade to Broncos) - Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis - This is kind of a whacky concept of letting your division opponent trade up to get a potential franchise QB, but the Chiefs add picks and most people aren’t scared of Lynch right out of the gate.
59
Chiefs (Trade to Bengals) - Artie Burns, CB, Miami - The Bengals lost Hall, Jones is old/a jerk, and they’ve ruined Dennard.
91
Patriots (Trade to Texans) - Sean Davis, S, Maryland - Sean Davis will be what everyone expected Eric Rowe to be.
29
Cardinals - Kenny Clark, DT, UCLA - Clark is a plug and play nose for the Cardinals system. He’s capable of eating multiple blockers and creating push in the pass game.
60
Patriots (Trade to Texans) - Leonte Carroo, WR, Rutgers
92
Cardinals - Dak Prescott, QB, Mississippi State
30
Panthers - Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama - Cam Newton 6’6” 250, Kelvin Benjamin 6’5” 225, Funchess 6’4” 225, Derrick Henery 6’3” 250 with a 4.54 40. Enough said.
61
Cardinals (Trade to Patriots) - Harlan Miller, CB, Southeast Louisiana - The Patriots don’t have a corner that really scares you. Miller could develop into one of those guys.
93
Panthers - John Theus, OT, Georgia - Did you see that Super Bowl. Please get Cam some protection.
31
Broncos (Trade to Chiefs) - Jaylon Smith, LB, Notre Dame - This is a total investment pick, but Jaylon Smith could be a steal come late 2016 or 2017. He’s the perfect option to replace Derrick Johnson because he’s Derrick Johnson 2.0.
62
Panthers - Joshua Garnett, G, Stanford
94
Broncos - Maliek Collins, DT, Nebraska

63
Broncos - Vadal Alexander, G, LSU - Alexander has versatility and could slide into their right guard spot ASAP.

  1. Falcons trade is horrible. You don't trade up in this draft for a DT, too many good one available and with the us having few picks and many wholes means if anything we trade down. Please fix this.

    1. Maybe you do not feel the same way we do about Billings, but to us he's the next Geno Atkins. Honestly the trade might not even take a 3rd to hop the Lions for him. So yes, the Falcons could hang tight or trade down for a "good" DT, but we believe Billings is much more than a "good" tackle.
